i think Bale would be great. Clive Owen would be another great choice...
but, although Brosnans disgracefully over-inflated ego gets up my goat, i think he should stick around for at least one more film.
now, i dig Crowe, Mortenson and Jackman, but i don´t think they could pull off Bond.
Jude Law and Ewen Macgregor would positively suck in the role.
and Grant, well, i love you Hugh, but James Bond, you are not.
so, imo, from the given list... i think Brosnan should stay, to be replaced eventually by Christian Bale.

as for Bond girls, well, i guess we just have to sit and pray they don´t commit another Denise Richards style sin.
