I never have heard anything good about them, and pre 95 jags were notorious for unreliability. Check the recalls and gov data at cars.com or cartalk.com before seriously considering it. You could get in over your head if you buy without a thorough inspection by a competent jag mechanic. I did extensive research on jags as I was seriously considering purchasing a mid 80s XJS.
