Ok this is my trademark dish, you can't go wrong, and it feeds about 4 people.
Brown about 350g mince in either oil or butter. To that mince add 3-4 cans of peeled Tomatoes, either whole or chopped, the thicker the better. Then add the following spices: lots of oregano, a bit of chilli powder, a bit of curry powder and then some crushed garlic or some garlic powder. Stir this whole thing up real good and reduce the heat.
Meanwhile get a pot going to cook some pasta. I find either Penne (the little tube things) or some Elbows work well, but Spirals are also good, infact any pasta is good. Cook the pasta for 10 minutes, drain, and put the pasta into the large pan that has the mince/tomato/spice mixture. Stir in the pasta and put the element on the lowest possible setting. This is the important bit, put the lid on and let the pasta absorb some of the liquid for about 10-15 minutes. This makes the pasta really soft and also infuses it with all the goodness.
Then serve into plates and eat with some sour cream. This recipe is absolutely devine, and tasty to say the least.
