Dreggan watched with great satisfaction as Nina went to work. The elf was becoming more and more powerful... which was good for them. Seeing Matt's confused face, the thief explained.
"I just gave our friends the go ahead to attack. Nina will use her magic to take out as many orcs as possible, after which Vanelee and I can take out a few from a distance. I you wish to attack, wait until Nina is finished and strike at the orcs on the fringe of the group, closest to us, so that she can have a clear path to attack again."
As he explained himself to Matt, Dreggan saw a pair of orcs making for the narrow passage left by the rocks sent down earlier by the monk. Jumping down, he landed a kick to the first orc's head, stunning him, then took out his sais to parry the other's sword. Locking the weapon in his sais' forks, he threw three rapid kicks to his face, breaking his nose and sending him to the ground.
Meanwhile, the other orc had regained his senses and swung a heavy war hammer at the thief. Dreggan barely had time to parry it, and was knocked down by the force of the blow. Rolling to his side, he stood back up and was now about ten feet away from the pair. He threw a needle to the standing orc's knee, just below the armour joint, which brought him down briefly. As he was standing back up, he barely had time to see the thief jump on his shoulders, landing on them on his knees. With a quick twist of his powerful legs, Dreggan snapped the orc's neck and put him down for good. Falling with his opponent, he hit the ground rolling and headed for the orc with the broken face, in order to finish him off.
