When I was a kid, yeah, a couple times. Most of those were with my best friends.
When you hang out with someone alot, especially when you're a kid, you tend to get sick of them and just look for ways to argue with them. Which tends to turn into fighting when you're fourteen.
There are plenty of times now where someone is just a jerk and I usually go over in my mind the different ways I could pummel (I boxed for awhile in high school so I would think I'd have the upper hand in many fights) but I never do. Which is good. Fighting in general is stupid. Why waste your time and energy on someone who's an asshole (unless you're defending yourself or someone else). And throwing puches is the last thing you should do when you're angry and not thinking clearly.
One of my best friends when I was younger (he went to West Piont and is currently still in the army so I haven't seen him in awhile) had his father's house burgalurized. Through some friends he found out who did it (fellow highschoolers, who lived in the area, being idiots).
When he saw one of the kids at a party, he went up to him, said "What's up", said he knew what the kid had done, then proceded to beat the living shit out of this guy. Sending the guy to the hospital for acouple days. The rest of the partygoers took the guys car and fucked with it for the rest of the night.
So did the guy get what he deserved for robbing my friends dad's house? I mean there's a chance he could have been killed with the beating my friend gave him. And all for a moment of stupidity.
And that's how most fights start. Because of a moment of stupidity.
