You can pick your friends and pick your nose, but unfortunately you can't pick your relatives.
I'm my parent's biological son, and for awhile, I wished I had been adopted. My parents have lots of financial and mental and physical health problems. And there's a family history of heart problems.
Then I realized, when God was handing out souls, I could have been given to parents in a lot worse shape than middle class white folks in America, regardless of their other issues, and I have alot for which to be thankful.
