Yeah, and USC really looked like contenders when they played Cali... you people and your short term memories =) There was more to this season than the last games... you have to remember the entire season, not just what you want to remember, or can remember. my contention is: if you lose your conference championship, particularly in the hurting fashion that OU lost to k-state, then you dont deserve to play for a title. effectively making the games from this past weekend, far more relevant for the three teams in question here. additionally, every analyst worth his salt constantly stresses the importance of getting your loss out of the way early because a late loss has a far greater impact in the BCS in later weeks. not trying to argue with you...but this is how this flawed system works...USC struggling against Cal or not.
