I have to take this opportunity to plug my favorite band,
Over the Rhine. They are a local (cincinatti) based band, but have gained a lot of popularity over the last couple of years (signed with Virgin.)
Anyway -- the lead singer, Karin Berquist, is angelic. Plus their music is very versatile (music for every emotion) AND concerts are relatively cheap!
I even have a guitar named after her -- i know, i'm sad.
