Ender's Game will eventually be a movie. I recall reading somewhere in an interview that Card has turned in a screenplay already and is waiting for the studios to get back to him.
As for the original question, I would kill for Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series to be made into a movie. That would truly be an epic, 10+ books, each 800 pages
