Nina found a deep pool at the base of a small waterfall deep in the woods. It was a quiet spot. The sun filtered through the branches and made the pool look enchanted.
Nina sighed. It would be nice to relax if only for a moment.
Nina removed her cloak, tossing her hair free. She undid her boots and pulled them off her aching feet. Standing gingerly with her feet in the water, she undid her bodice, removed it and the camisole beneath, and pulled the leggings from her long, toned legs. She stepped down into the pool up to her waist then, closing her eyes, she dipped below the surface of the water, letting the cool liquid caress her bare skin and revive her soul. She came up in a deeper part of the pool, closer to the falls. The water was just above her bare breasts. Her wet hair clung to her back and shoulders. Her thoughts drifted from Vanelee to the mission, then back to Vanelee as she realized how sensuous she felt with the water against her bare skin.
