Wow, I hate the be the lone dissenter in a thread, but I hated this book. I'm not a big Crichton fan, but I've read a few and Andromeda Strain was one of the best reads ever.

I thought Timeline dealt poorly with some issues and was over detailed on others. I'm a big fan of the time travel genre but was bored by Timeline. I felt Crichton had little new to add . Maybe I'll have to give it a second read. I hope the movie is more enjoyable, but I doubt I'll be paying $10 to see it soon.
