Vanelee moved lightly as he made his way back to the previous day's battle ground. Upon arriving, he found his ivory colored bow and cloak where he had dropped them in the heat of battle. He picked up the bow, unstrung it, and slung it over his back. He still had the cloak draped over his arm.
The gods had smiled upon the world today, because it was a beautiful day out. The air was no longer crisp, but rather very warm and a light breeze fell through the valley supllying a perfect atmosphere. Since it was early, Vanelee still watched the bright sun rise over the mountaineous horizon, which as of yesterday was so distant, but now stood right in front of him.
'I should have woken Nina up to watch this..' the elf thought to himself. He then continued to search the battle ground for any arrows that weren't broken, for he had exhausted his lot on the golems earlier.
After finding a fair share of unbroken arrows, Vanelee returned them to his quiver and turned to head back to camp.
All of a sudden, the elf's senses pricked up, and he sensed the strong force he had sensed earlier. But they were now moving...fast...TOWARDS THE CAMP!
Without a second thought, the elf took off at a all out sprint in order to get back to the others and prepare for battle.
