in IE, tools>internet options>advanced
check out those setting carefully. I'll bet something is hosed there (like maybe Java is disabled?)
I havent seen the AOL interface in a long time, but they used to have something similar in their menus. ten bucks says that AOL screwed up those settings.
unless you have absolutely NO OTHER internet service option, I strongly advise losing AOL. coming from a former AOL/CS user, I can tell you that their service is the worst.
