To all those who haven't tried it, and mention their SO having to have recently had a shower:
Would you want your loved one licking your asshole if you weren't absolutely sure you were clean?
Cleaning beforehand is simply common sense. I have turned away and been turned away because of the "not so fresh" feeling. It's courtesy. You move on.
