it doesnt happen to me all that often, but there are a few factors that come into play in determining whether or nor the order will get screwed up. the first is drive thru vs going inside. i find that the drive thru is a lot worse with orders than the people inside are. secondly, i find that the busier "restaurants" like mcdonalds, wendy's or BK, will screw up orders more often simply due to the high volume of orders that they process in a day. if a restaurant is in a low traffic location, your order will have a better chance of being correct because it will be more of a main focus for the servers who dont see as much business in one day.
