saltfish, I have actually been looking at the Canon a70 as one of the cameras I may buy if I go digital.

The way it looks, both within this post, and in general, I'm going to go digital.

I'm just deciding on my price range now, and the camera that I want to start with.

Thanks a bunch for the input everyone. It really helps having a few more voices to work through something that I'm not too familiar with.

I'll let you know what I decide on once I do.
