I have a strict no porn policy on my work laptop which I attach to my home network. Its not worth the anguish.....ohh nad yes some companies are extremely retentive about porn to some its a sccking offence even out of hours.

The real answer is how does your mother's laptop connect to the net? Does it go through one of the company's servers? Does she connect through a proxy or a VPN? If the answer to any of these is yes, then do not even think of using her connection to look at porn. If the company is simply paying for her to have a highspeed connection to the house (ex. pacbell dsl) then you might be safe using that connection with your computer. Do not use the laptop to look at porn.
