Are they itchy at all or tender to the touch? Most pimples I have are usually tender to touch. Whiteheads don't bother me though. Biore cleaning strips is the best thing I've found to painlessly deal with white heads/blackheads. You can get strips to put anywhere are your face. If they are whiteheads that might help clear it up a little. Be sure to wash your face afterwards or course. If it's itchy at all though don't use those until you figure out why it's itchy.
