Oklahoma has been phenominal. Unbelievable. I take nothing away from them.

But to some degree, the other "powers" in the Big 12 have had disappointing years. Kansas State lost their first three games after facing the Boys and Girls Club of Topeka for the first four weeks. Texas expected better than what looks more and more like a bad loss at home to Arkansas. Missouri and Nebraska were suppossed to show resurgence, but they've not put it together. Oklahoma State has shown some flashes, then given up fifty the next time out.

Also, Colorado was ranked #27 and Texas A&M #29 in the preseason poll. They've been downright ugly this year.

As for two BCS teams, you'll usually get a couple if a team from your conference is in the big one. That leaves the traditional Big12 slot open for another team.

I just think that the Big12 would have had a better year if highly touted K-State hadn't dropped outta contention so early and if Texas would have taken care of business at home. Not to mention how weak the North has been this year, what are they, 0-10 against the South this year? That doesn't say very much for the quality of wins the teams from the North have against each other.
