Great to hear that you actually did find the owner. It's been interesting to hear different people's point of view, but I gotta admit I'm still firm in my opinion. It really comes down to just being safe, and respecting other peoples' property; driving with appropriate caution, whether you're in the parking lot, around other cars or even pedestrians, or on the road.
