Well, most of the violence was great, yes. But some shots were just to please the 14-year-olds, in my opinion. They did nothing to enhance the scene, and we just gratuitous. Especially the scene with the scalping, and the brain showing. Hannibal did the same, lots of girls screamed "gross" but it just looked stupid and too much.
