Every once in awhile I'll hear stuff, the only one that I converse with on a regular basis is one that I've come to think of as sorta my guardian angel (after it physically kept me from doing something retarded and getting hit by a car).
There have been a few times when I thought I'd heard someone calling my name-- once it sounded like my little brother and once like my mome, but both times there was nobody there. When I mentioned it to a wiccan friend of mine she described it as being "fairy-led".
And yellowgowild is right, going to long without sleep does some messed up stuff to you. I went 4 days once, and I was seeing some crazy things after the 3rd day. ^_^
