I'm hoping to find some info on modifying an xbox controller to do a direct swap of the x-axis on the dual analog sticks. I've googled but I can't find anything online.
I play with what I call a "Goldeneye" ( from Goldeneye 64, on Ultra 64) setup in FPS. It's called the "Legacy" setup in Halo. Some games only support this setup as an afterthought, and most not at all. I'm missing out on some decent titles because, after ten-plus years, I can't switch to the more popular style (it's just too instilled).
I've even e-mailed MAdcatz to see if I could I could get a custom controller, but no dice.
I've actually opened the controller to see if I could do a little rewiring but that is all on circuit boards. I'm not opposed to destroying a few controllers to try to make one, but I have no clue how.
So...does anyone have a direction they could point me in? Perhaps they have the same problem. Like I said, I'm looking for any help at all.
