Dreggan was already set to go and was waiting for the others. From his vantage point in the tree, he could see that the fotrest they were in had several clearings, with low mountains beyond about 10-15 miles away.
"We should move fast and avoid the clearings. The mountains are reasonably far away, but if we take only one more break to eat in the late afternoon, we should be there by nightfall. Let's move."
With that, the thief started hopping from one branch to the next with amazing speed and grace.
