The Series 80 1911-A1 has the same safety features of the 1991-A!, and a greater variety of choice in finish, set-up, and calibre. Not knocking the 1991-A1 at all, just mentioning that colt has put the same safety features in its' normal 1911-A1 since the Series 80, giving more choice for those who are safety minded.
