Which part? I guess you're talking about turning off the graphical options. Go into visual effects through control panel in XP. Find the tab that has a ton of check boxes which are all visual effects. I uncheck ALL of them except "Drop shadows on desktop icons" and "show windows contents while dragging." This makes your system look like older versions of Windows and increases casual performance.
