i am running windows xp pro on a 450mHz PIII without any probs whatsoever. i have turned off a lot of the services and used bootvis to reduce my boot time by 3/4. one problem i had at the beginning was my old graphics card wasn't properly compatible with the default drivers that come with XP, so i couldnt play any 3d games. New Geforce4 MX 440 SE works perfectly fine.
