"Nina!" Vanelee yelled taking a few steps toward the shielded vacumn, but he was stopped by a voice that seemed to be whispering in his ear.

'Vanelee, don't worry...I'll be fine...'

'Telepathic?' Vanelee questioned himself 'Is Nina telepathic? I igured she had telekentic powers being a demi-elf, but telepathic? If so...has she been reading my thoughts...'

Reassured that Nina would be just fine fighting the one gargoyle by herself, Vanelee turned to see how Matt was fairing against the larger of the two gargoyles.

Seeing that Matt's Sechi style was clearly dominating the fight, Vanelee thought to himself 'Has Nina read my thoughts...my feelings..?'

Vanelee regained focus and watched as Matt dismantled the strongest gargoyle.
