My thinking is that Cal (er.. more like wishful thinking) has a favorable schedule that should still land them in a top spot provided that they go undefeated--they have lost 4 games in the final minute or in OT, all this on a team that returned 9 starters. Since just about the ENTIRE team is returning next year, I feel that they have as good a shot as anyone. This 6-6 team (and they will KILL Stanford on Sat) is o-so-close to being 10-2, and with all of their starters returning, including the return of medical redshirt super-seniors at key positions, they are gonna be tough to beat. Of course, Oklahoma is looking like they're gonna kick some serious a$$ next year too.
"Cause maybe God loves Methodists or Baptists more than a motley collection of state school students. "
Maybe, but I think that God is at least favoring the agnostic group this year, what with the powerful football performances of secular Oklahoma and Ohio State, coupled with the proliforation of pornography on the internet and in pop-culture in recent years.
