When I was 6 or so I figured it out while rummaging through my parents' closet. But I thought that if I told them that I knew, I would ruin all the enjoyment they got out of the whole act. Plus I feared that I would get fewer presents.
I had to work really hard to act like I still believed. I'm a terrible actor.
