I think that the reason a lot of people are saying that a radeon 9600 is the best deal is because it has gotten pretty hard to find any geforce 4 ti4200 cards. they are out there but it is much easier to find a Radeon and the Radeon has that direct x 9 support which should help with games that haven't come out yet (Doom 3, Half life 2, etc). i do agree that if you can find one a geforce 4 Ti4200 is the best value tho.
