IQ vs. Economic Left/Right = 0.022, statistical significanse: p = 0.873
-> absolutely no correlation, any correlation that exist is purely due to chance
IQ vs Libertarian/Authoritarian = - 0.129, statistical significanse: p = 0.339
-> very small negative correlation, however the correlation that exist is purely due to chance
Economic Left/Right vs Libertarian/Authoritarian = 0.598, statistical significance: p < 0.01
-> strong correlation, fact that this correlation exist is very unlikely to be due to chance
Simply put:
- IQ has nothing whatsoever to do with ones political affiliation (at least not with the people who have participated on this thread).
- There's a strong relationship between ones political views regarding economics and Liberty/Authority - the more to the right one is on economical issues, the more one believes in tight authority structures.
