What is your definition of expensive? A new holster might be nice, especially if your friend wants to carry concealed. They usually run about $50-100 or so (you could easily go higher obviously) for a relatively nice, well-made leather holster.
If you can find hi-cap magazines, they are always a good buy for someone with a double-stack auto like a Baby Eagle. It is a fairly uncommon gun, so you might have some difficulties, but, as I recall, it is just a modified Tanfoglio Witness/TZ-75 frame, so their mags might fit. You can easily find 10-rd magazines (though you might have to have them ordered due to the gun), and they should not be that expensive in 10rd cap. 13/15 (depending on which model your friend has) will be harder to find and more expensive, but worth the hunt.
There are tons of other mods that might work on that gun from the Tanfoglio line, but I would check with a gunsmith or competent gunshop first. Tanfoglio was, years ago, VERY serious about supporting the Witness.
