Now that I've said that, I don't think that swimming after lifting will affect your mucle gain at all, and in fact, I believe that it could probably only help figuring it's also a resistence excercise. I'm not too sure, but I don't think I've ever heard that doing cardio, even after lifting, will lower you muscle gain in any way.
