Hopefully 99% of the teen-adult female public knows what sitting on a guys lap will do to him. But I have to agree with mistered, I don't think you didn't hook up because you didn't "poker her with your penis" (nothing like slang that isn't). If someone is sitting on your lap, you have to take bigger steps than that.
