I'm very professional when I'm at work (Electronics in Walmart), but sometimes I have to say off-the-wall stuff because I can't help it. Some fellow employees who aren't too bright were asking me which blank VHS tapes to buy, and I told them not to get RCA tapes, because if they didn't have an RCA VCR it would set their VCR on fire. I didn't say it with a different tone of voice, but that is so over the top that I didn't think anyone could believe it, but they did. I had to tell them that I was pretty sure no VHS tape will set their VCR on fire.
