I agree with a lot of those that were already mentioned, especially TOOL.
but wtf. how come no one mentioned RUSH? i think they are pretty dam original. their instrumentals are awesome and I can't think of anyone who would come close to their sound.
i also think that AC/DC is pretty unique. anyone disagrees?
