Yep. I've been able to get that to work ONCE in 6 years, and only with a SCSI hard drive. It's not supposed to work in ANY OS at all, but it does sometimes. Even when it does work, it's better to reinstall. You're gonna have to back up your data and reinstall Windows XP. Good luck!

It happened for me. Plus, I went from Intel to AMD.
Yanked my HD's out of the old PC. Put them in the new one, and it booted up fine. It's been stable as hell. Only had a problem with the drivers for my vid card, but after I got that straightened out it's been extremely stable. Guess I got lucky.
