I never heard of a 12-step program that wasn't free, unless it was at a special facility or something. But the sort where you all meet in a church somewhere and support each other and drink bad coffee? That's all free. Somebody may ask you to come early once in a while to make the coffee, but that's about it. Good luck with Gambler's Anonymous. Find a meeting and go there. Make it priority 1. It's really going to help you to talk with others who know what you're going through.
