This was inspired by a woman I work with and meeting that never seemed to end today.
And though, oftentimes, she may be at a loss for words
She continues to speak of nothings and nobodys.
Out of sheer habit,
like a young girl twirling her hair about her finger,
or a nervous teen biting at her lips
she continues to ramble on
about whatever thoughts may happen to haphazardly dance through her mind
and off of her perpetual tongue.
Indiscriminately rhapsodizing about the obvious
and the worthless,
but pausing,
just long enough to draw a breath
before blithering on about the unnecessary.
Oh, to have an opinion on everything.
I sometimes envy the ignorant chatterbox,
or the unaware advisor.
Though, how tiring it must be to never take the time to evaluate,
deliberate,
cogitate,
hesitate,
or contemplate.
How tiring it must be,
forever speaking,
but never saying a word.
