I wouldn't do that because it puts too much pressure on your spine. To do weighted pushups, you should be putting a 10-lb weight plate on your back between your shoulder blades. Putting the weight any lower then your shoulder blades is not good for your spine.
If you don't have a 10 lb plate, then go buy one. Brand new, they will only cost $5 each at the most.
