Sad part is, USC doesn't gain much in the BCS numbers by beating Washington state. They will most likely go to 2 or 3 in the polls, which will knock 1-2 total points off they're BCS total. Average of they're ranking in the 2 polls plus .6 for beating the 6th ranked team in the nation.
Miami recieves a full point for a loss, and god only knows where they fall in the polls, if it's no lower then 4-5(You'd think they'd have to stay ahead of FSU In the polls) in both polls, it's quite possible they could still reamin #2, by a slim, slim margain. USC will stay behind FSU since they will also move up in the polls, changing the average of they're poll rankings
The BCS is confusing, I know the formula, but you can probably find the formula on a website, and run the numbers yourself. Miami will be a close 2 or 3, possibly 4 depending on how much FSU moves up in the polls.
