whats the best/smartest/sneakiest/etc move or tactic you ever pulled off?

here's mine:

as a freshman in college, I didnt have a lot of time to play D&D, but one weekend, some friends and I killed a few hours playing a "battle royal" type scenario. everyone brought out their favorite old character and the DM set up situation with basically everyone fighting each other over vast treasure horde.

so, my character, Puric the Blackhearted, a 10th level thief with a fair amount of scrolls, potions and a magic sword, is hiding in a patch of woods. meanwhile, a mage on a flying carpet is zooming around tossing fireballs into the woods. Im taking some minor damage and running out of places to hide. Desperately seeking some way to defend myself, I notice I have a Push spell on one of my scrolls. I wait for the Mage to fly within range and read the spell. The DM made me roll a to-hit, which I made, barely, to make sure I didnt miss the flying spell-caster.

Imagine the scene: a wicked wizard flying around hellbent for leather on a magic carpet, tossing fireballs left and right and generally creating havoc. suddenly the Push spell hits him and stops him in his tracks, so to speak. meanwhile the flying carpet keeps going. He hangs there in mid-air (abour 50 feet up) for a half second with a stunned look on his face, then plunges into the burning forest below. takes massive damage. I am then able to sneak up on him and one well aimed arrow later he is dispatched.

yay for me.

so, who can top that?
