Music is not meant to be liked by everyone out there - it's all about personal tastes and moods. Same as your analogy: it sounds as if you would care if someone scribbled on the Mona Lisa; personally I wouldn't care. Everyone has differnet opinions on what they enjoy and if you don't like something in general, you don't have to listen to it.
