Good luck with your situation, remember that they can't take your spirit! I'm kind of in the same boat you are in (luckily our landlord is semi-understanding) so I can imagine all too well how you must feel. I have no advice, anything I could say has already been said. Everyone in this thread is great.
By the way, is that a Massive Attack lyric in your signature? If so, then we have even more in common than just being broke.
