Here's what I can determine from what people I know have said
-Kia has the highest rate of complaints per 100,000 cars of any auto manuracturer this past year.
-The cars are undrpowered, almost painful to drive in hilly areas.
-The suspension makes teh ride unbearable, especially with a bad back
-With the exception of one or two models, the crash ratings are not up to par with other manufacturers
-The interior has a cheap feel, consistent with the low price fo the car
-The reliability is sub-par. If you void your warranty, you will be likely to end up paying more than the value of your car in repair costs in one year.
