OK, the photographers did nothing wrong:
1) They recorded what happened. This is called EVIDENCE. Be REAL hard not to convict the asshole with all that video evidence.
2) They're photographers. Not doctors. Helping the wounded man is not an option. They don't know how. I've never seen a paramedic picking up a betacam and shooting a package for the evening newscast, so why should you expect a photographer to play doctor?
3) There were cops right there, in the area, running after the gunman. The photographer who was pointing at the gunman was doing so to make sure the cops took the right guy down. And it worked, because they did. Two cops converging on one nut. The odds are stacked against the nut. The photographer would only get in the way, so he should NOT go after the guy.
