Gagged and tied
yet left for dead;
wicked thoughts run
through my head.
Shamed and silenced,
empty while here;
private demons that
know every fear.
Loved and lost
and cast aside;
cherish the soul
as it tries to hide.
Cold and alone,
empty and bare;
if only they knew
what I had to share.
