I think he'll have an up-and-down season - and I'm pretty darn sure noone could live up to the hype created around him. (Plus the Cavs are still pretty awful). But James did look like a pro last nite.
Living in Ohio, we saw him long before most. I knew he was a man among children in high school, but I have to admit how surprised I was while he was standing next to seasoned NBA players. James has a leaner, stronger body next to them as well.
The thing that most encourages me is his willingness to pass, and his willingness to go to the hoop for a tough board. He doesn't have the "i'm a star, i don't hafta" attitude.
Hopefully, for Cleveland's sake, this is a sign of things to come.
