I understand your situation as I went through a time where I was living on credit too, but I would never even consider just not paying them off, and I certainly wouldn't whine about it being unreasonable that I'm expected to do so.

I make payments but they won't close it so no more charges can be made. They won't close it so the interest rate is locked in. I cannot pay it ALL off in full because I don't have that kind of money. I am doing what I can but they penalize me for everything. I am not asking for something unreasonable and our other credit card with Chase worked with us. NOT Capital One. I'm not whining that I have to pay. I'm whining that they are making it very difficult to pay the whole balance off.
